Canyons

Canyons offer unique opportunities for life to take root on the planet Isla, no matter their size or location. Importantly they provide shelter from the constant wind, and often provide easy access to water. While biomass is often lower in environments like this, species which inhabit canyon are often very unique and specialized, and live lives which are very different from related species in other ecosystems.
